Background:
About two years ago, right after graduating from high school Genny began to notice long stints of "depression" that normally lasted for two weeks or more. She started loosing interest in things she once loved to do, reading, singing; but she could always manage to drag herself out of bed for ballet. She brushed it off though as just mild depression at the thought of leaving home for college. Her first depressive episode lasted for almost three weeks. She returned to "normal" for a few days before she entered into a new emotional state. Genny began to feel that there wasn't a need for sleep (Three hours is plenty of time, besides, can you imagine everything you can get done with the rest of the time that normal people are sleeping?), she was distracted so very easily from things that normally kept her attention, she started chattering about anything and everything that came to her mind (which was a lot!); but once more she brushed it off as just being excited about going to college. Her moods began to fluctuate a lot between being depressed and on the hyper side of things, she couldn't shake the feeling that something was terribly wrong. Genny kept about her life, pushing her emotions off to the side as much as possible though they of course interfered with her life, she missed so many classes that she flunked out of college, she didn't want to go out with her friends anymore, and has started calling into work more frequently than she used to, and was just recently fired from her job; and during her last depressive episode she didn't even want to go out of her apartment for her ballet lessons. That feeling shocked her, no ballet?? Something was terribly wrong! Terrified that her parents would soon find out about everything, Genny turned to the only place she could think of for help, Cherry Hollow.
Personality:
Shy around new people she's just met for the first time, Genesis seems outwardly normal, until you get to know her better. She has a hard time admiting to herself and others when something is wrong, taking over two years to finally admit herself to a hospital for help. She doesn't like a lot of frilly things, expect for her dance costumes, and the occasional taffeta skirt. She always dreamed of becoming a famous ballet dancer.
